Hard to believe this is the same team I remember from the '70s and '80s

KIFFIN: "Now, say you're in need of a few points, maybe three, but time's running out on the clock and you're 76 yards away from the end zone. What would be a good way of getting those three points?"

HOST: "Why, I don't know! It seems like you'd try to kick a field goal anyway, but that's just crazy, right?"

KIFFIN: "Absolutely not and here's why..."

At his own press conference today, Shanahan was asked about Davis, and he tried to make light of the situation.

“I was really disappointed, to be honest with you,” Shanahan said. “When you take a look at it, I was there 582 days. Lane Kiffin was there 616 days. So what it really means is that Al Davis liked Lane more than he liked me. And I really don’t think that’s fair. I won three more games, yet he got 34 more days of work. That just doesn’t seem right. Does it to you guys? No, really, think about it.”

After getting a chuckle from the media with that, Shanahan continued.

“I know the right thing to say. The thing I should have said is, ‘I haven’t had time to look at interviews and what really happened.’ But I think everybody saw the press conference. We’ll leave it at that.”

I like Mr. Loose False Teeth about 1000% more after that quote.

Does Shanahan have any advice for Kiffin on getting his money, a reporter asked, drawing laughs from his fellow journalists but not from Shanahan.

"Just take it out of his ass with interest every time you play him. Every. Goddamn. Time. From now until the skies darken and the seas boil. With interest.

Note, Mike Shanahan's Broncos are 21-6 vs the Raiders.

Okay so I fabricated the quote but the record speaks for itself plus Shanahan would clearly stab Davis to death if given the chance using nothing but beams from his eyes of pure hate.
