The 1-16 upset has long been considered one of the final frontiers in sports. The truly impossible upset. And it has been perpetrated by a commuter school from the America East upon the leafy upper-crust Atlantic Coast Conference enclave founded by Thomas Jefferson.

Best thing about college basketball, having to go the full length of the court for these shots. Inbounds play at half court wouldn’t have been nearly as exciting.

What an incredible shot, truly one of those moments you live for as a sports fan. I usually hear from my mom when things happen to Michigan sports, but I didn't hear from her after the shot, because she turned the TV off with three seconds left!

Incredibly unlikely shot, but Poole has ice in his veins, and even though he's a freshman, he's probably the guy on Michigan to make a shot when it matters most.
