"Teacher" is such a jam, just realized it was cut from the CD version of Living In The Past, which is insane

Three Top 10 hits, one Top 20 and Top 30 in the UK, 1969-71. The only ones I know are "Living in the Past" and "Witches Promise".

Family were having hits at roughly the same time, the charts were pretty weird back then.

two of the best imo
The LP version of the Living in the Past comp is a great place to start if you're dipping your toes into Tull waters, and will cost you >$2 at any record store in America

They cut Teacher? Hey man what’s the plan what was that you said.
That is a terrible error

(xpost) $2? For the double? Is there no ridiculously-priced used market down there? I doubt you could get that in good shape for under $10-15 up here.

Huh, I dunno! I just assumed because I used to see it everywhere, frequently in the dollar bin. But I've given up shopping for vinyl in record stores in big cities so you may be right. LPs that were once ubiquitous--Rumours, Dark Side, etc--are now being sold for $25. It's madness!
