Okay, I have a comment - when I have my tablet in landscape, I can't bookmark a post - the Send, Browser, Bookmark links are not visible. In portrait mode, they are.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8, Android 7.1.1.
The add new post + sign is visible in landscape mode.

There is something in the Ant & Dec s/d thread that makes the Flagging app crash on my android - don't need to fix that for me though, just letting you know in case it's useful

(ok i still would love search, FP, browsing your own bookmarks, and find-in-page. but i really ain't complaining, this app is great!)

search is the most obvious thing that would be nice...but...I bet that might be, to use a technical term, a whole nother can of worms so no worries

App is still great obv, but long threads still take a long time to load from bookmarks.

Just pushed an update that should fix that.

The Pitchfork thread (the longest thread in my bookmarks) loads almost instantly, so thanks for the update!

Something in the Shocking plagiarism thread crashes Flagging (as pointed out in that thread), right around this post: Shocking plagiarism

I'm not gonna have computers for a couple months but I'll look into that (and any other issues that pop up) when i get back

Any idea why the Mark Hollis thread is the only thread currently not loading for me on Flagging?

The Russian Doll thread doesn't load for me

the hollis thread loads fine for me but i had it bookmarked so idk. could maybe have something to do with the thread title change

I dunno if this is fixable, but if I've bookmarked a post in a thread with hundreds of posts, and the bookmarked post is not among the most recent posts, rather than among the posts the app automatically hides, when I click on the bookmark the app doesn't jump to the bookmarked post. Instead it just shows the most recent posts, and I have to keep on clicking the "load 100 earlier messages" until I find the bookmarked spot.

Yeah i've had that too, when threads are really going nuts.

Somehow I only just found this app. (Serves me right for rarely straying from ILM.) Looks good. Please excuse this one boring test post...

This is the ILX APIs fault: it only serves up the most recent 100 posts for a bookmark unless you tell it to page. I’m looking into fixing it

Not working in what way? If you just get an endless spinner, try closing and reopening the app.

I had several "server not responding" messages from theporouscity yesterday (both AM and PM) but I figured patches or upgrades were being done and it worked again a bit later every time

A few times now I've written a post on a thread and hit the submit button and the app says "Reply posted" but the post (so lovingly composed) is nowhere to be found.

When I next have a vacation day I'll roll out a quick fix that leaves the post in draft, so you can recover it if posting fails. Then there's some work to hopefully fix the problem by better aligning posting with how Zing does it.

Cool, thanks. My workaround of preemptively copying my genius quips into my clipboard before posting works fine too.

Flagging only shows the first frame of animated gifs in the main thread view. On single messages the animation is shown.

It's probably a feature, but it's pretty annoying in the current 00s tracks results thread, which has an animation for every track.

New version rolling out now that should be less likely to eat posts.

Just pushed another app update, fixes a long-standing bug with loading bookmarked threads when the bookmarked message is more than 100 messages in the past. In these cases it now loads the entire thread, let me know if anything breaks. I think this takes us out of beta.

My bookmarks tab doesn't update, the circle just keeps circling

Is it just me, or are Youtube embeds not working in Flagging anymore? I get this error message anytime I try to open one:

net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED

They're working ok for me.

In the meantime, it's not very slick, but the Browser link on the single post screen should work for this
