No you’re right it was the zodiac killer, he assumed a new alias to make consistently terrible (but otherwise unremarkable) posts on a message board 24/7 for five years, and he would have gotten away with it too

there was another poster who posted concurrently with crimson hexagon and infinity symbol who i thought might have been a sock of him, or vice versa, but i don't want to say it in case I'm way of the mark (because the inference is pretty offensive)
