Despite being called Alone, it's not really about being alone.

I don't think it's meant to be about being alone, but Pink Floyd's "The Great Gig In The Sky" was the first song that came to mind.

I like to listen to it alone, and it seems to be about feeling so deeply.

Never thought about the lyrics until I just looked them up:

(At 0:38)

"And I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it – you've got to go sometime."

(At 3:33, faintly)

"I never said I was frightened of dying."

I feel like there should be something from The Muppets. "Halfway Down The Stairs", maybe?

But for now ...

My favorite has always been Bruce Springsteen: Open All Night

The flipside to that song is State Trooper
