its funny the cavs actually resemble a normal team now, a superstar an allstar and a bunch of role players who make sense

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:22 (six years ago) link

yeah it’s really admirable how the front office slithered this together while also threading the bron (not bron) needle

Clay, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:24 (six years ago) link

otm theyre better this year while still positioned for a post bron future

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:25 (six years ago) link

lot of new players to integrate by the offs tho

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:26 (six years ago) link

it is kind of amazing

altmans got game i guess

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:27 (six years ago) link

yeah of course the risk is all these dudes don’t figure out how to play together and coach lue really isn’t in the strongest position considering xp

Clay, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:28 (six years ago) link

theyd be in a lot better shape if love wasnt out for basically the rest of the regular season since thats gonna fuck with their rotations too

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:30 (six years ago) link

but i mean they had no choice and theyre in a ton better shape than they were this morning if they get bounced by boston or toronto so be it

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:31 (six years ago) link

yea they had to do something. wouldve been nice though to get rid of tristan & JR for something better

marcos, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:38 (six years ago) link

wow check out mr picky over here

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:39 (six years ago) link

yeah they are solid, even if it doesnt work they showed the bron they were (mostly) all in and didnt have to leverage much future for it. cavs win today easily. sometimes you just gotta reshuffle and clear the stale air.

fgti spinner (Spottie), Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:40 (six years ago) link

lol xp, i think w/ all the action i just kept getting greedier and greedier MORE TRADES! MORE! DEANDRE JORDAN! KEMBA WALKER!! cavs twitter universe has been the same

marcos, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:42 (six years ago) link

lol fair trades will drive u wild

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:43 (six years ago) link

gotta admit the dense waft of a coming trade gets me horny like a teenager woof woof

Clay, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:45 (six years ago) link

btw cavs can still trade that nets pick predraft if bron agrees to stay, so if the team looks good and then they can still add a dre jordan and things of that nature itd be a pretty good incentive for bron

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:46 (six years ago) link

Wait til you see Deandre coffin somebody for the first time in a Cavs uniform

omar little, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:46 (six years ago) link

still almost positive bron is leaving but cavs did all the right things today to weigh down that ‘almost’

Clay, Thursday, 8 February 2018 20:49 (six years ago) link

Denver gave Memphis a choice of two offers for Tyreke Evans, per league sources: Emmanuel Mudiay/one 2nd-round pick OR an expiring contract/multiple second-round picks. MEM wanted more, and didn't want any 18-19 salary.

Hm did not know Elfrid was shooting the ball pretty well this year. He is averaging: 13.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 6.3 APG, 52% FG, 37% 3PT

fgti spinner (Spottie), Thursday, 8 February 2018 21:03 (six years ago) link

One last note: Mudiay has not talked to the Denver media all season. He has stonewalled us all. And Denver is a SOFT media market. Curious to see how he handles NYC.

The Kings are waiving center Georgios Papagiannis, who was their No. 13 overall selection in the 2016 draft.

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 21:59 (six years ago) link

uhh whyyy not trade smart cmon

Memphis had preferred either Marcus Smart in exchange for Evans and a second-rounder, or a first-round pick in exchange for Evans, but Boston was not willing to meet that price.

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:05 (six years ago) link

ayy bringing iso joe home okay

Boston remained pat at the deadline without making any trades and will target Joe Johnson in the buyout market, which is expected to be robust this season.

Re: Kings & Georgios Papagiannis. Going fishing for NBA centers in the draft is a cruel mistress.

iso joe wld be nice for them. smart straight up for evans i’m not sure i really bother.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:14 (six years ago) link

they need scoring

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:15 (six years ago) link

smart is bad they shouldve done that deal

fgti spinner (Spottie), Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:20 (six years ago) link

they’ll get some scoring from monroe and some buyout guy and i still want smart’s defense in a playoff series.

lebron is so fucking funny

J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:34 (six years ago) link

hes compromising he allowed the cavs to bring on good players but then he gets perk

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:35 (six years ago) link

I’m impressed Lebron got the Cavs to give the Lakers enough cap space to sign both he and Paul George this summer. And not get a pick from them to do it.

the thing abt smart to his credit is he is a good playmaker and somehow manages to interest teams in his pick n rolls and make good plays out of them, and if you leave him totally open from three he will hit some shots, like u cld prob concoct a defense to take advantage of his limitations but its not as simple as just not guarding him on the perimeter, and tbf he does make an insane amount of winning defensive plays, also he is insane and terrible at scoring the basketball

lag∞n, Thursday, 8 February 2018 22:39 (six years ago) link

yall have smart googles on, lookin like scotty brooks over there.
