i could see the case for taking advantage of a chaotic final second scenario but the team did not respond to that at all

it was bad they didnt have enough time

i was half watching and figured they didnt have a timeout lmao what on earth. malone gotta go

there's 4-5 seconds differential between the game and shot clocks, so there's no question of how much time is going to be left after a missed shot. I can't think of a defensible reason not to plan to call a timeout there
