Speaking of Fastback – the Zoo Crew are featured in the big Super Pets “Character Encyclopedia” (it’s a fun book; better than the storybooks); along with tons of other animal characters that I assume all originated somewhere in the DC canon.

I'm quietly optimistic about Doom Patrol, the Titans series was at least 50% good and the Doom Patrol ep the best of the bunch.

Looks like there’ll be a Warner streaming service in the fall. I expect they’ll roll it into that when it launches

Yeah this was 'clarified' when Superman and Superman watched Superman blow up then Superman left Superman to be the only Superman and Superboy became 'Superboy' and not Superboy leaving the way clear for Superman to have been Superboy.

The only trouble with that wiki answer is that although that Superman was Superboy in the future with the Legion, there currently isn't and never was a Legion because reasons, although the Legion members may exist but just not remember they never existed.

Following up on my post from 3 months ago, Doom Patrol is fkn great - full-on GMoz weirdness. So far we have had:

Is the Doom Patrol named the Doom Patrol from the start or do they only formally become the Doom Patrol towards the end of the series, after dressing up in Doom Patrol costumes and operating under the name 'the Doom Patrol' throughout the series? It's DC so I figured I oughtta check.

I've (ahem) acquired all of the episodes but am still very uncertain about how I'll feel about them. Might be helpful to consider the show as its very own thing, unrelated to anything that came before.

The Doom Patrol got mentioned for the first time in the latest ep, and isn't them at all (it's a Celsius/Lodestone/Mento lineup).
