I got one of these and really like it - http://acousticguitar.com/gear-review-gretsch-g9511-style-1-single-0-parlor/

The Empress Zoia pedal looks neat.

Man if there was ever a reason to use the takemymoney.gif, the G&L semi-hollow Doheny is it. Holy fuck this is cool.

I'm amazed that they could sell enough of these to justify production

I’m very confused by that model, tbh

The Airsonic confuses me. Is it chambered as well? What purpose is served by having the f-holes go straight through? They can't just be Monkey Grips, right?

Some of Reverend's bodies are horribly shaped, but they've got some winners too. My favorites are the Corgan signature model and the Reeves Gabrels Spacehawk:

Oh shit y’all, G&L Doheny tribute series has been officially announced. Black and Olympic white with maple necks and black blocks, Surf Green and Burst with rosewood fingerboard and pearl block inlays. No prices announced yet.

I think that Corgan model would look much nicer if they lost all the pickguards.

There are flat out so many guitars out there anymore, I can't see buying anything but a used one these days. It has to be close to an extinction level event for many of the guitar companies, same with amps or pedals.

They have a few guitars with similar body shapes to the Corgan model, if the number of pickguards you require is fewer than 4.

The Warhawk used to have that raised middle kind of Firebird look like the Corgan a few years ago.

I'm more than set on instruments, only guitar that I look at getting anymore is a semi-hollow or hollowbody. The two models that check out are either a Gibson ES135 (w/p90s - some have p100s or humbuckers) or a Gretsch Tennessee Rose. I'd dig a Gibson ES175 or Gretsch Silver Falcon, but those are pretty expensive instruments.

Silver Falcon is sooo sharp.

I was pretty stoked about Wampler bringing back the Faux Spring Reverb. Never should have got rid of my old one.

he doesn't need to be racist about it though. (Austin), Sunday, 28 January 2018 21:40 (six years ago) link

Wampler's tape echo looks like it would be fun.

I had the version two for a bit last summer. It was okay. The Dunlop Echoplex delay is hard to top.
