My favourite episode of Daria has to be the one about the poster she and Jane create for the school competition. That episode is just perfect. The jerk football player episode is amazing too.

Will try watching daria today tho

I haven't watched this in forever but I often think about "the wind chill drops below sub-zero"

the episode in the last season where Jane gets a new boyfriend and he's got a retrofetish and Daria actively calls him out on being nostalgic for a period of racism and misogyny is something I think about a lot in these days of "make America great again"

I wish the places where I watch this online would feature the episodes with the original soundtrack music, I think now I would be embarassed but at the time I remember loving hearing songs pop up by bands I was just discovering as a teenager

I have never heard the OST :( only the library music versions. silby-come-lately that I am

I think they did an OK job with the substitute music, but there are some scenes I'll always associate with the original ST (eg Monaco's "What Do You Want from Me?" in the scene where Daria dresses up as Quinn). Party scenes in particular have been weakened by the OST absence.

It's kinda amazing how difficult it seems to be to find the original run anywhere

the scene were Daria is in the car and realises her feelings for Tom are developing, originally soundtracked by Saint Etienne's "Sylvie", was a highlight

There's a pretty decent rip of the entire show w/the original music out there in the dark.net.
