I dated a gal for a bit who claimed to have magic healing powers. She had a lot of eccentric, older guru figures hanging about the margins and made the absolute foulest tasting tea in the world. She was often hours late and made me go to the opera. Dud, yes.

Coming back to the subject heading for a minute... why would it worry you that she's a witch? Its just a religion, like any other. Ask her about it, there's plenty there to learn about - and if you don't really agree with her beliefs, just take Ms. Lurex's advice and try not to belittle them. She may have to put up with a lot of that as it is.

I have never met a witch with a horde of winged monkeys. Maybe I'm just not hanging out with the right people. That horde would come in pretty useful, I'm sure - if only to send them out to the shops for a pint of milk and a bag of damiana.

As in being able to tell the future? My parents are convinced I could do this as a child. I would be able to say what would happen in the coming hours with detailed precision. They stopped because "people could take advantage." uh yeah.
