STILL haven't had the gumption to tackle the nearly 1600 post long rolling metal thread but could maybe if anyone gave me a nudge or could argue a use for it. Otherwise, this seems a good place to also post this:

Grammy Nominations 2018 - Listening Lists and Arguments
^includes playlists for each category

and this:

ILM's 2017 End of Year Tracks & Albums Poll / NOMINATIONS THREAD

All them mothers should be up to date as of now. Anybody getting good use out of this work is encouraged to toss some laurels my way as I am inclined to maybe start letting this slide... or better yet if people want to volunteer to maintain for individual threads, I wouldn't mind just listening!

Okay, here's the COMPLETE playlist
https://open.spotify.com/user/forksclovetofu/playlist/5EPkXa3AuDvVKTkS6WZG21
This includes the complete 77 tracks nomination playlist and every genre list above for nearly 4200 songs that were talked about on ILX this past year.
That's a thing that happened

So I did a little forksy thing and made a Spotify playlist for the Rolling Afropop/Afrobeats thread. Here's the link: ILM rolling Afropop / Afrobeats 2018.
I included some of the older tracks mentioned on the thread as well.
Ideally, it would save some people the hassle of clicking lots of YouTube links on a long (and possibly uninviting?) thread, while making others curious enough to start following and hopefully contributing to the thread. Or you could just enjoy all that great music, fine with me!
