based on some of the local sports dudes scuttlebutt things are getting bad between Thibs and the Wolves

god this franchise it's so fucking demoralizing, like year after year of this shit like i know we are 4th in the west and four games over 500 which is a fuckin miracle for this shitshow team but honestly given the players we have i feel like we are gonna just get the bare minimum of wins you should get given the talent on the roster

one guy i always go back to as having gotten a raw deal was dwane casey, we ran him outta town for apparently no reason and i think he's a very solid coach (at least that was my impression when he was here and generally from afar seems to have done a solid job w/the raptors)

right now though, it's pretty damning of Thibs, for his supposed defensive genius, we aren't playing remarkably better defense then we ever have, and honestly i could dress up in a suit and draw penises on the clipboard and this team would be able to score over 100 pts

reminds me -- that was still the most inspirational pep talk i've ever been given

thibs' jeff van gundy + hannibal lector vibe might work at first but i think with this team you need a positive feedback type of coach, yeah.

i thought there was a chance Butler might keep increasing his PPG in minnesota but he's around 18 pts.
