I don’t think they’re flutes but they’re definitely wind instruments;
Francis Bebey - Coffee Cola Song(Which is based on ba bezele pigmy song and sampled by Arcade Fire and Jens Lekman... so you got 4 songs to choose from but I prefer the Bebey one)
Enanitos Verdes - Lamento BolivianoOne of the most popular rock songs in latinamerica (honestly everyone knows this one). Has a wind instrument intro.

Bands I remember they use a flute frequently:
Jethro Tull, Camel, Mago de Oz... many bands from the Canterbury scene (Caravan is the band that comes to mind from that scene but iirc flutes are used a lot)
From this year Future - Mask Off has a flute thing going on which I guess is synth but it sounds eerie and beautiful.

I don’t remember ‘spill the wine’ having a flute... but that’s a good partial list.

What’s the wind instrument in Men at Work - Down Under? Sounds like a flute.

Oh fuck! Sorry it’s 2:30am over here and I misread that crucial piece of information.
In that case I have nothing to contribute atm... need to check back on that one.
Sorry.
