yeah kobe was pretty legendary def the one nba player a lot of ppl cld name but his era was also one where the nba was a lil less aligned with the zeitgeist

if he had ever changed teams maybe he would have but even kobe/shaq was sort of limited to nba fans....i'm saying like regular f'n civilians had thoughts on bron going to the heat.

bron aspired to become a global icon but it never quite materialized on that jordan level where he was a straight up celebrity everyone knows him but hes still kinda just lebron the insanely good basketball player
