oh I didn't say he's a bad singer. I don't find him great as I feel he lacks emotion, intensity and variations but it's ok for what he does (I mostly get tired of his production choices for his voice actually. Like listening to a whole album is difficult).It's more that I think maybe HE thinks he's not a good singer, hence the fx, etc.I agree about Avey Tare being more a Lennon voice to PB's more Macca.

ah gotcha, sorry for misunderstanding. curious to see how he treats the vocals on this new ep. everyone that's asked him about it after shows over the past year has relayed the message that the songs on this ep (and the one coming later in 2018) are very stripped down, dry, and simple. hopefully that applies to the vocals, i'd like to hear a more direct approach. the desert daze set is great but the AC's live shows usually aren't a good predictor of how the songs will sound on a record.
