Buddy of mine was pointing out that the national game this past weekend was a 4-5 and a 5-4 team when the two 7-2 teams were actually playing each other.

PHILADELPHIA -- The way Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery sees it, his Super Bowl guarantee is still in play.

Following a 3-13 season with the Chicago Bears in 2016, Jeffery raised some eyebrows in January by saying, "I guarantee you we'll win the Super Bowl next year."

The Bears are currently last in the NFC North at 3-7, and Jeffery is in Philadelphia after signing a one-year deal worth as much as $14 million in free agency.

Not a single match up on Sunday that is compelling. Really the best game might be a battle of Ohio between the Browns and Bengals, as that MIGHT be the only time the Browns win and those games are kinda usually tight.

Saints and Rams could be good, but obviously since it is a good matchup it is NOT the national game.

saints and rams should be a great game. at least they flexed it to the main late afternoon game. i guess steelers vs packers is too big name to bump it from primetime.
