maybe its just the socially acceptable way to express your love for something online now. if you just write: "I LOVE KALE!" people might not respond. and think you were really high. but if you say: "I know its kind of a joke now and it's cool to hate it, but i really do LOVE kale!" and then people can post: OMG SO DO I I DON'T CARE IF PEOPLE HATE IT HERE IS A GOOD RECIPE...

All I hear all day is Beatles Beatles Beatles, and I'm like, pah, no way Jose, they never meant shit to me...', when, y'know these days there are probably more people who are indifferent or actively dislike the Beatles and you don't even hear that much about them any more.
