Kind of wild that Kanter was supposed to be on that UK team that won the title a few years ago but they could not get his eligibility together.

Being on the road for work, I have been watching more sports on TV. Couple times I have watched the Warriors, they just flat out look unbeatable.

i think the lakers might be figuring out that their bench is better than their starters

Warriors without Durant are STILL probably the best team in the NBA, which is nuts. The thing that blows me away in their run is that they can get on these huge runs and just crush clubs. You will have them down 15 and then leads evaporate in a minute or two. I can't remember ANY other club that could score in bunches like that.

Spurs without Kawai last week were playing great and up like 15 on them and then they seemingly were down nearly 20 in like 6-8 minutes of game time.

It's a long season. Weird things happen. The 72-win dubs lost the title.

these numbers are always so hard to interpret early in the season, there's all sorts of inputs that are not clear, like i'm pretty sure this takes into account last season too, people get a bonus for being taller, etc

people do get a bonus for being taller because rebounds are worth a lot in any all in one stat

that's not why there's a height adjustment tho

the parts in here about the cavs defense have been rehashed ad ad nauseam but i found the parts about love and the offense pretty interesting. lebron/IT and rose/wade are gonna suck up all the shots, and even if love gets reduced back to a floor spacing 3 point shooter he's still behind korver and JR

feel like rose will probably be cut from this team at some point, he doesn't seem tenable there

The Nuggets need to stop overthinking things trying to be a good defensive team and running isos. You had a top 3 offense for months, just let Jokic do his thing and outscore people.

btw i was wrong about the prior season data, apparently they stopped doing that a few years ago. so as far as i know the data are only from this season
