The answer is White Noise probably but I voted for the underappreciated January because I doubt anyone else will

Caracal definitely has some amazing stuff on.

When I spun this album this morning, "Grab Her!" sounded like the album's great deep cut, to me.

Without listening to this again first, I'm inclined to say "Defeated No More", but alt. choices would be:

1. "F For You" if it was the version featuring Mary J Blige
2. "Confess To Me" if it was the Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo Remix
3. "Control" if they'd included it on the album

I think I ended up voting for "F for You," but can't remember now.

Is this already dated? Anyways going to vote for "F for You."

I suspect if you were 18 at the time then it was very likely to be THE album.

I was 16 at the time and it really was! Along with the Daft Punk album and Chris Malinchak's So Good To Me it really did seem like the stylistic features of commerical dance music were shifting (generally). I remember David Guetta's Play Hard being promoted at the same time and thinking that it sounded like the past.

Anyway, the singles were so much better than the album tracks even at the time, I think only Confess To Me really stands up from what I heard first on the album. I'm voting for You And Me as I had a huge soft spot for it back then and even away from the context of the hedonistic summer it came out I still do to an extent in the sense that when I play it, it seems to reveal more of itself on every listen, a proper slow-burner.

The Mary J Blige version of F For You was wonderful as well

Voices and You & Me are both really good, but going with White Noise. The album sucks overall, however.

Boiling better than either of those three.

I'll vote "F for You," even w/o Mary J. I kind of like the dude singing. It is way better w/ her, but still good regardless.

Voices is better than a lot of the songs that got votes and here's the Wookie funky remix (sounds funky to me anyway).
