Yes, true. But our Tuesday election day for presidential and congressional elections is written in the US Constitution and it would require an amendment to change it.

If there's a section of voters in the last election who voted Trump just because "hey, let's burn the whole thing down" or "it'll make ppl who annoy me angry", how much larger is that contingent going to be if you make voting mandatory?
