weird fit, i mean both melo and russ r kinda hard to fit in with on their own, paul george who theoretically shd be a guy who fits in to every situation is running around like what do i do, i think they can prob talent and defense their way to a dece record but that roster is prob not gonna maximize itself

i feel extremely dumb for having even mildly optimistic thoughts about the kings before the season started

i'd feel a lot better about okc with a different coach, like maybe billy donovan is fine but he's not equipped to put together 3 guys at different career stages who have or have had all-nba talent.

i like some of the kings young guys but theyre a long way from putting anything together, tho they really shdnt suck this bad

right, perhaps i thought the mix of intriguing youth and steadying veterans would lead to a respectable but not great team. in actuality each of these players individually kind of sucks.

z-bo rehabilitated his rep as locker room poison while in Memphis. I wonder as the season goes forward if he'll revert.

Hill has fallen off a cliff this year. Z bo and Vince shoulda been ring chasing. Hield hasn’t really played well.

i don't think zbo suddenly became toxic or anything, but he shouldn't be starting and should have a defined off the bench role.

imo, Hield is headed for a 'second guy off the bench' sort of career.

reddick was a really smart signing. theyre always gonna need snipers like him around to keep the lanes open for simmons to work

xp yeah the reddick signing was something, even though obv the sixers aren't where the warriors were at the time, it kinda reminds me of the igoudala signing in the sense that they both kinda "chose" these teams that were emerging from poopage

like, it's a sign that the sixers are 'beyond' "the process" if they can sign guys like jj reddick

lol this game is ugggly

This was the case last year and I guess every year with Westbrook but it is amazing how many times per game the Thunder do something that is just unacceptably bad from a percentage standpoint. Things you wouldn’t see any other team do.

I saw Westbrook dribble down and take a pull-up three with 4 opponents back on defense and no teammates. What can you say to that?

I don’t like Hassan whiteside and I’m sure he brings this on himself but I can’t shake the idea that the Heat are micromanaging him and making him crazier

He doesn't even seem to know what he's doing in a programmatic sense on defense but he's smartly just zipping around and keeping his hands way up which just creates chaos

He's kind of an offensive savant too. Was fully prepared for him to be a bustorama but he's a treat

Fully prepared for him and Tatum to be the best small forwards in the east at least within a couple years

Yeah I hated all of their moves, they needed like two vets to shore up the young guys while they look for a couple of career prime guys and instead they bought like almost a whole 35-win team worth of virtually washed up dudes and slathered it on top of some iffy young talent
