Eagles fans were doing Wentz, Wentz, Wentzadelphia a couple of weeks ago as a chant referencing the Flipadelphia episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Got to give it to the NFL owners, they will do whatever cornball stuff they need to do to prove they love the cops and military. They will even dress their coaches up in fatigues and then sell it on the NFL store.

This being the first weekend I was captive enough to watch a bunch of football, I got to say the college games yesterday were seemingly better played than watching either the Falcons/Cowboys. Pretty snoozy.

i have a theory that davis looking like such a freak is a business power play, saying to the ppl he deals with that they all have to adhere to particular standards of personal presentation to succeed and meanwhile he's on another level entirely. it's evidently deliberate and i can't think of a better explanation.

Miami's D looks pretty decent. Don't think either of these clubs are all that great, but they are evenly matched it looks like to me.

Got to love any play an offensive guard ends up trying to run the ball. There is a reason my HS football coach would say to us, just fall on the damn ball, don't try to pick it up and run.

it takes a special guy

All a wideout has to do is just get in the way, often times you don't even have to touch them to be effective blocking down the field. I've seen a ton of holding or crack back block penalties on receivers watching a bunch of football.

Atlanta's TE was a total goofball on a couple plays today for that very thing.

this game is a little deceptive, have to remember that it is about the league worst offense vs the worst defense which is somehow giving an illusion of competence to the jay cutler fins

This is a better game than the KC/Dallas or ATL/Carolina games I watched earlier today.

Oaktowns receivers are some cold stone hand players. Last two balls should have been easily caught.

god, what a pathetic game

started with an 8-minute drive that resulted in a blocked field goal, then Lions look to go 3-and-out except the Pack pick up a completely unnecessary flag giving them an automatic 1st on a 3rd-and-14. Lions score a TD and wind up not punting the entire game. starting to think our problems are more than just Rodgers being out.

yeah it was p dire. not sure whether it is more preexisting giant cracks that rodgers papers over or that the players have quit since he went down but the whole team was a mess. probably a mixture of both.
