This might not be the right thread for this, but are there any plans to put the sandbox threads back online? I was (google) searching for a thread the other day and the thread I wanted was a sandbox thread. (Luckily somebody c+p-ed the relevant stuff to a real thread so it didn't matter in this case)

Oh, I see the problem - google's links to sandbox threads use the URL "beta.ilxor.com" instead of "sandbox.ilxor.com" - all I had to do was change that part and it loads fine. Thanks!

Having the two were causing loads of confusion — people kept wondering why they were being signed out (when they'd just changed domain) and it was making Google searches a bit random. So www.ilxor.com is the official one.

If you really want to sign in at ilxor.com you can bypass the redirect and go to ilxor.com/ ILX/ xp exactly

while that's a wonderful practical fix for www-less links, I hope the code is still in place to auto FP anyone who posts them.

it was only on the interstitial page, which is what i see everytime now because i CANNOT untrain myself from typing "ilx" --> ENTER in the address bar (this goes to ilxor.com); can't teach an old dog new tricks i guess. i have literally been going to ilx this way for > 10 yrs

who types www anymore? what's the advantage of using the www domain?

there are some arguments for using *something* other than a bare domain (ilxor.com is a bare domain),
