we've got fly paper but it only seems to take care of fruit flies. maybe i should slice my palm open and drip the blood all over the fly paper?

flue traps catch real flies (not fruit), so probably mosquitos too.

i want to trap him humanely so i can look at him when he isn't dead. but the only humane traps i know of are ones where he has to be elevated to fall in or ones that cost like $12 (no)

you can release them from glue traps like i used to do by pouring a little rubber cement solvent on the trap. just carry it a couple blocks away so it doesnt go right back in your bldg.

i had some pest control dudes put glue traps in my ceiling a few weeks ago. the last week a rat got caught in one and died and proceeded to turn my apartment into stankonia, so i had the guy come out and take the traps and the rat out. i'd rather have live rodents in my ceiling making a little noise than dead ones making it unlivable.

guys i don't want to do a trap like that because my mice are never on the counter! only on the ground! that won't work!

i think my last apartment was run by perticone family ltd but then they sold it to joe "turn the heat down 2 degrees to save YOU money" schmoe i dunno who it was. it was the same management people though, and they liked to ignore maintenance requests (and mouse kill requests) and tried to evict one guy who complained too much because 'you're not happy here and we only want happy people so please leave' but then a lawyer told him to stay because that's not legal for them to do that (contracts)
