It's an instant classic

This album is so great. Reminds me a lot of Sebastien Tellier's My God Is Blue. I'm suddenly hearing so many great albums that are totally reshaping my end of year list.

on first listen was fun guessing the collaborators. First track sounded like a dead ringer for Air circa Virgin Suicides. Mccartney track is a lot of fun

Takes a few tracks to get going, I think, but from "Deadly Valentine" onwards this is quality.

This put a big grin on my face when I first heard the song this morning: the piano in "Dead Valentine" from 0:45 to 0:50 is almost a direct quote from one of Serge's songs I think? Not sure which one though, "L'Homme á tête de chou", maybe?

She's not coming here, but the reviews I read were mixed. Some claimed she was a non-presence and others liked it a lot. Would love to see her tho

Anyway, a new collaborative album's just come out

I never heard about the cat. Finally ended up listening to this album after “Deadly Valentine” showed up in a playlist. Something I read said the reason she lives in NYC is she came here after the death her half-sister Kate Barry who at least one of the songs in obviously about.

Also just recently saw her play a small but important role in The Play Blue Eye.
