T/S: People Like Us V. Byrds (s/t) (or, are these reviled comeback records not so bad ?)

Listening to 'Byrds' now and find it surprising how badly received it was at the time. It's no 'Sweetheart at the Rodeo' or 'Younger Than Yesterday', but as a slice of post-Laurel Canyon country tinged rock it more than holds it's own.
