We were lolling in the pub at Fellaini coming on as like for like

Cheds Baker (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:16 (six years ago) link

Herrera's not even on the bench for some bizarre reason

Number None, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:16 (six years ago) link

always enjoy a coach in a wet suit

plp will eat itself (NickB), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:20 (six years ago) link

Young to Fellaini lol

Number None, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:22 (six years ago) link

Can't find the link anymore but Mourinho had a real "the bed's too big without you" thing to say about Fellaini recently, when he's not available. He really loves that dude.

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:24 (six years ago) link

"He's an important player for me - a lot more important than you can imagine. I feel weaker without Fellaini in my squad, doesn't matter if it's on the pitch or on the bench. If his conditions are improved, he will be selected, I need him."

Number None, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:27 (six years ago) link

Messi scores! Lovely one-two with Suarez.

Wag1 Shree Rajneesh (ShariVari), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:33 (six years ago) link

xp That's it!

First ever goal of Messi against Buffon. He's really doing great since Neymar left tbh

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:36 (six years ago) link

Can see PSG scoring 7, can't see Celtic scoring 1 let alone 3.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:46 (six years ago) link

Though I actually can't see anything because I'm going home and not watching the second half.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:47 (six years ago) link

love mata's look of pure delight at the sight of fellaini heading a ball

Aye, 7-0 my new prediction

-_- (jim in vancouver), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:54 (six years ago) link

xp That photo could have been of Lukaku's goal just now!

Barca 2-0!!

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 19:59 (six years ago) link

Cannot help being reduced to total embarrassing fanboy when Messi gets his gear on

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:12 (six years ago) link

Yeah. He is ridiculous.

Wag1 Shree Rajneesh (ShariVari), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:13 (six years ago) link

Qarabag worse than Celtic at least.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:24 (six years ago) link

keep believing

Cheds Baker (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:24 (six years ago) link

Celtic not too bad!

Poor Qarabag ;_;

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:26 (six years ago) link

PSG are, uh, not bad, for sure.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:27 (six years ago) link

some sound thrashings tonight

Well bissogled trotters (Michael B), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:29 (six years ago) link

Oh fuck, spoke too soon.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:36 (six years ago) link

A Celtic fan ran on the pitch and tried to kick Mbappe?

Well bissogled trotters (Michael B), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:40 (six years ago) link

Yup, he ended up doing a fresh air kick. Looked like a young lad, mibbe 18 or so.

-_- (jim in vancouver), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:45 (six years ago) link

Almost ten years since one of our fans punched fresh air next to Dida's face when we beat AC Milan 2-1 at Parkhead.

-_- (jim in vancouver), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:45 (six years ago) link

Souness reckons Fellaini is more effective than Pogba

Well bissogled trotters (Michael B), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:46 (six years ago) link

he hates Pogba with a passion. It's embarrassing

Fellaini did really well tonight though

Number None, Tuesday, 12 September 2017 20:49 (six years ago) link

he did. He's a very Mou player. He's a very Souness player. Basle wasn't much of a technical.challenge tho

Cheds Baker (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 21:02 (six years ago) link

Yup, he ended up doing a fresh air kick. Looked like a young lad, mibbe 18 or so.

Older than Mbappe probably. You've got hand it to Rodgers, he believes in rewriting the record books: entire league season undefeated, biggest away defeat in Celtic's European history, and not biggest home defeat in Celtic's European history.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 21:06 (six years ago) link

NOW biggest home defeat in Celtic's European history ffs.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 21:06 (six years ago) link

Finishing above Anderlecht has always been the aim though.

Wewlay Bewlay (Tom D.), Tuesday, 12 September 2017 21:07 (six years ago) link

What are the neutrals watching tonight? Torn between spurs-Dortmund and Liverpool-Sevilla

Both look pretty exciting!

Windsor Davies, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 12:17 (six years ago) link

any tips for how i watch this without having bt sport?

Bein' Sean Bean (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 13 September 2017 17:52 (six years ago) link

Acestream, streams on livefootylol or something like that if you google

Sopcast been sick lately I'm afraid.

passé aggresif (darraghmac), Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:05 (six years ago) link

check /r/soccerstreams

gbx, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:08 (six years ago) link

Yeah if you're just streaming to a pc or laptop I think soccerstreams is easily most reliable.

Well worth getting a chromecast for that imo, being able to throw really solid hd streams of any football match to the tv with no extra faffing about is well worth £30

Windsor Davies, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:12 (six years ago) link

well worth it.

Windsor Davies, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:13 (six years ago) link

makes sense. ended up getting a bt login from a mate. i would pay for bt sport tbh but they literally won't let me, their product is structured in a way that means i can't access it. fucking infuriating.

Bein' Sean Bean (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:15 (six years ago) link

streams are good now

have been for some time

Number None, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:16 (six years ago) link

my bt box is refusing to connect to the internet and I'm thinking this might be the prompt to cancel

ogmor, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:17 (six years ago) link

Some of us have the TV pc ahem ahem

Thanks for the soccerstreams tip American are are much saner than russian

passé aggresif (darraghmac), Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:30 (six years ago) link

off to a great start

gbx, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:51 (six years ago) link

Yeah that whole move was fucking tight

Windsor Davies, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:52 (six years ago) link

Sensational finish

passé aggresif (darraghmac), Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:53 (six years ago) link

meanwhile, Liverpool have conceded in shambolic fashion

Number None, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 18:53 (six years ago) link

Poch could've done the job imo but he just renewed his contract

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Thursday, 31 May 2018 11:36 (five years ago) link

Wenger at RM will crack open the heavens and drown Bernabeu in tears. I'm all for it.

Just for lolz they should try to tap up Guardiola.

Poisoned by Johan's pea soup. (Tom D.), Thursday, 31 May 2018 11:42 (five years ago) link

Klopp + Salah would also be amusing

groovypanda, Thursday, 31 May 2018 11:53 (five years ago) link

Conte seems like the most obvious bet out of the high-profile managers who are a) available and b) haven't done the job before.
