xpost i feel like in preseason belichick/pats coaches are more concerned that players do exactly what they are asked to do vs whether it 'looks' successful on the field

it's so funny b/c i think a LOT of the patriots pro scouting consists of "that guy killed us, let's sign him" yet it seems to work fairly well.

hightower p much worst non-brady loss possible for this team. but he usually misses 2-3 games, hopefully no more than that this time too. we'll see.

they have to protect back leg hits, but kicking leg? fuck it, you're a professional kicker.

getting two penalties in their favor on a punt and STILL not getting a 1st down out of it seems like a very chiefs thing to do

sucks about johnson. that doesn't leave az with much of an offense. jags' allen robinson also probably done for the season and bears' kevin white dead again. on top of eric berry that's a pretty crappy first week for season ending injuries.

achilles injury is the pits. it's zapped my already limited athleticism by like 25%.
