opening for WOODS (who were awesome) in philly last night (underground arts), CUT WORMS (who were awesome) played a cover (not sure which song) by this lind character, whom i'd never heard of. i've since listened to since there were circles (awesome), but i haven't heard anything else. easy enough to find stuff i guess but anyone have any insights / guidance?

I don't know anything about him, beyond the fact there's a Pulp song named after him!

could owe to richard hawley's appreciation and/or scott walker's involvement in that pulp album?

I'm listening to "since there were circles" now and it's terrific. Country rock with some easy listening touches and great lyrics. His Spotify bio says his record company didn't promote the album and it flopped. He turned his back on music and became a writer and wrote a bit for the Weekly World News!
