Modesty means having the courage to rest in anxiety and not try to quickly escape it. Modesty means being tough enough to endure the pain of uncertainty and coming to appreciate that pain. as if racism and a social divide ceases to exist if no one is actively screaming about it

truly the people who claim they're being discriminated against when no one is shouting epithets in their faces, they are the real racists
