But anyway...). Apparently when reissued on CD they attempted to restore it to its original format but Lynne put the kibosh on that out of pique, so we still don't get a legit issue of "Hello Old Friend," possibly their/his best-ever song"
There's a very very long thread on the HOffman forums that's worth a read if you're interested in the history of this. The main person in the thread was working on a book which was maybe going to be proposed for 33 1/3 but it sounded like it was getting too long for that and he's been working on it for three years or something.
Anyway, how did people rate the Lynne's ELO tour from a few years ago? Wondering if I should spring for tix this summer.
