I can't believe i didn't post about this but a few weeks ago I looked these guys up on youtube for the first time and had my mind blown as I've thought it was a female singer for over a year!

they covered "Keep On Loving You" recently which I imagine might earn them a new heap of scorn

They've been doing it for a while now and it's amazing.

I should hate’em since my soon to be ex’ crush absolutely adores this band. Unaware of said crush and her love for this band, he used to rave about’em. Then I discovered why he listened to’em. Hilarious. I checked’em out. Bland. So no love nor hate.

I mean a lot of the reason they're crushing it is because it's sex playlist music, but why does this not come up often as an example of wildly popular legit indie rock band?

Always liked them (well, hence starting the thread) but I was surprised just how much ILX didn’t fancy them much at all.

I still like them. Very XX/Interpol influenced, but then I think that about most woozy rock of the last decade or so.
