LeBron James was +7 in 46 minutes and his team lost by five. In a game of incredible stats, nothing touches that.— Michael Pina (@MichaelVPina) June 8, 2017

nice of them to finally have a good game while i'm on a damn plane out of the country.

lebron was legit incredible and the plus minus thing was real. him on the bench for that 150 seconds or whatever at the end of the first quarter to the beginning of the second was so noticeable
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:24 (six years ago) link
Prediction: Game 4 LeBron plays 48 minutes, more if there's OT.
― A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:26 (six years ago) link
btw the durant as lebron and steph as wade parallels are so real
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:27 (six years ago) link
when durant leaves the warriors he shd go to seattle
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:29 (six years ago) link
a lot will be said about the state of basketball and whatever after the warriors finish this rampage, but durant has been the best player in this series and his team is going to win. same as it always was.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:31 (six years ago) link
on the other hand, klay thompson being your clear fourth best player should not be allowed
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:33 (six years ago) link
lebron has been the best player in the series
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:33 (six years ago) link
as he has been every year of this trilogy
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:34 (six years ago) link
i don't think so. they've been about equals on offense but durant's defense especially in the first two games has been way more impactful.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:35 (six years ago) link
okaaaay
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:36 (six years ago) link
also Steph has been amazing. the gap between best players 1-3 has been small
― fo, fo, fo, fo (Spottie), Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:37 (six years ago) link
i don't think it's really debatable that durant has been the better defensive player in this series. to say lebron's been the better all around would mean you have to argue that lebron's been a step ahead offensively, which isn't true either.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:41 (six years ago) link
the narrative is strong
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:42 (six years ago) link
fellas, both teams played hard.
― A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:43 (six years ago) link
yeah incredible game not sure how that was boring to anyone

Lebro w the draymo impersonation
Let's talk about this interesting kick by Lebron.. 🤔🤔 pic.twitter.com/6mnjQOFaQd— Malachi (Kai) (@LightskinKai) June 8, 2017
― fo, fo, fo, fo (Spottie), Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:46 (six years ago) link
they've both been incredible. what people always discount is turnovers. durant has had six in 3 games. lebron has had 17
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:48 (six years ago) link
those turnovers explain probably 20% of the difference in this series
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:49 (six years ago) link
game 3 definitely not boring but a likely 16-0 playoff run is unless you are a dubs fan imo
― marcos, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:50 (six years ago) link
durant also had like 25 uncontested dunks
― lag∞n, Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:50 (six years ago) link
i don't fault lebron for the turnovers, clearly his burden is greater than durant's
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:52 (six years ago) link
i just think durant is in the top 0.5 percentile of affecting the game on both ends in this series
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:53 (six years ago) link
you can argyle they're a necessary part of his game but i think his ceiling his lowered by that. like those 17 possessions mattered
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:53 (six years ago) link
i don't think it's a necessary part of his game just that vs this team he has to try and make plays. he's in an unenviable situation.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:54 (six years ago) link
to me, the most dominant basketball games i've ever seen played by one player is lebron in the final two games of last year's finals. durant is not at that level this year, but he's gotten close when you take into account his length on defense and his ease of scoring on offense, and it's been more than enough in this particular series.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:56 (six years ago) link
i am not sure we are disagreeing, durant has clearly been the best
― k3vin k., Thursday, 8 June 2017 04:57 (six years ago) link
i'm arguing w/ you and lagoon at the same time

yeah, I hear you but these type of teams never last as long as people think they will, the league adjusts, teams adjust, players leave, players get injured, etc. last year I was saying to people I talk to irl that I wanted a competitive series but that bit me. I want a sweep after hearing/seeing 3-1 jokes for 12 months straight.
