when i open a thread that has some images in it, why does the thread open at the images instead of the most recent post? e.g. i open the us politics thread and it keeps opening at the belle and sebastian image w/ the two trump ladies even though there a bunch of posts after that

I've had the same problem for years, just went with "forget it, jake, it's chinatown."

Firefox is reporting the site as insecure all of a sudden? seems to have just happened.

If you had it bookmarked, perhaps the thread has been moved to another board" alert. Just want to delete the bookmark at this point.

You should be able to delete it from the Bookmarks page

did the pic.twitter.com links in embedded tweets stop embedding on both the website and IN ZING? or were they always things you had to click?

Stet, it seems particularly exacerbated if I search for a phrase in quotes rather than a single word. may be nothing more a combination of being in a bad area of coverage in work and the extra complexity of such a search?

Hey guys, I'm guessing there are updates afoot as I've been forcibly logged out a couple times this morning. Just wanted to let you know: I have images turned off in my preferences but they are currently showing up in threads anyway.

Or possibly only tweets are displaying?

Yes, rolling out some updates today. I seem to have introduced a bug where logged-in users with images off still see tweets, but I can't see where! Will take another look this evening

put it on github and make the complainer do a pull request imo

I have Show Images on, but I never see pictures from embedded tweets, just a link to pic.twitter.com. Is this a bug or by design?

I think that's a Twitter thing — there's some setting on their site that affects it. Also some AdBlock can interfere with them too.

Ah yes, uBlock Origin was blocking all third-party domains. Now I see not just the images, but the entire tweet in Twitter-style. Thanks!
