Her twitter has been inactive for a few months.

It's funny, I was complaining just last week to my wife and one of my kids about her carefully curated Instagram account (my daughter had been praising her apparently and suspiciously modest and uncluttered home pics), so my wife called it up to see what I was talking about and her Instagram hadn't been updated in months. So my first reaction was, well, of course not, since she is not promoting anything right now - no tour, no album, no video, no fancy boat vacation - so must be working on something.

Will Taylor ever release a song better than Love Story? I vote no.

I remember seeing that cover in a convenience store lineup and getting pretty hyped. like, way more hyped than a gossip magazine should ever make me.

I saw that magazine cover on the stand at the grocery store yesterday and my first reaction was to the utter cynicism of the promotion machine ramping up so brazenly. She wrapped up a huge world tour in December 2015. You know you're overexposed if a mere year and a half away between albums and tours is considered "hiding." This is as lame as bands going on "hiatus" for like four years.

Four years seems like a long time to me. Imagine not working for four years! Even one!

Anyway. Swift hasn't taken 4 years off, it's been about a year and a half since she ended her tour. Are people really wondering, zomg, what happened to famed recluse Taylor Swift?

To be fair it's been long by her standards. Until now she's released something every two years since 2006. All we've gotten so far is that horrible zayn collaboration, which is definitely not gonna be on LP6

"Shake It Off" was Aug 2014 which is less than 3 years ago. Guessing there will probably be another surprise-drop lead single around Aug 2017 which would be 3 years instead of her average of 2 years which is not a remarkable extension.
