I think they need to prove it's not a joke and then POSSIBLY they can get more true greats (the more recently retired) to get involved and play KG,PP, Shaq? they need someone like Kobe, Iverson is that guy but if he's as toast as it sounds then...

it was kinda sloppy play, tho had some good dramatic moments. the lack of athleticism is pretty glaring. it's to be expected, these guys are 15+ years past their primes.

they need to get those more recently retired guys for sure. KG, Shaq. Reassemble some old crews. reignite some old rivalries. problem is i think the only guys who are doing this are guys who need the money.

i figure the guys w/ media jobs prob don't wanna tarnish their reputation / image as greats

reading some comments about it all some people saying they just werent good enough or like standing around basically not playing up to a standard that the league needs to adhere to to maintain credibility. seems the most accurate.

i dont think they drug test poly, but could be wrong.

i could see that. assuming its just for lols and a check and then they actually wanna see you play hard. like washed up euro stars who came to MLS.

i watch the highlights and the league looks pretty good/competitive to me. Only the dudes that truly love to hoop still should be doing it for this league. I think some of them might go back out thinking it's gonna be one way and they may regain that love and passion for it but I could see a fair share of them just not having their heart into it.
