Yeah, I just listened to this ^ over the weekend and it's fantastic. More "streamlined" I guess than her older stuff, but more in my wheelhouse.

Listening to it now, and am enthusiastically on board.

she should be blowing up. i think she's only been mentioned a handful of times on ILM. Thermo iirc is a big fan.

Tarantula Wallpaper, Dracula Screensaver is the debut album from Danish band Starcrash and I am loving it - it's kinda classic rock/power pop with indie sensibilities, I'm thinking fans of Teenage Fanclub and perhaps Flaming Lips will be into it. Unfortunately I can't find much info about the band and I haven't read a single review of the record. But so far it's one of my 2017 faves.

i wasn't really into previous chastity belt albums but i dig the new one, and "complain" is the song i play in the morning as i play fetch with my dog in the park.

I can't decide if "Ross from Friends" is one of the most
obnoxious or one of the best names I've seen this year.

Ross from Friends is the kind of band name that makes me want to punch a kestrel. See also Scott and Charlene's Wedding.

I sampled his/their latest EP just to see if it sounded like the character's hilarible sound effects collages from the series, and it only sorta did a little bit.

As long as I don't have to hear an NPR announcer say the name, I'll be fine.
