i know it's just one game but i feel like this game and result pretty well encapsulates the differences between harden and westbrook's games and why harden should be higher on the mvp ladder

k3vin k., Monday, 17 April 2017 03:30 (seven years ago) link

yeah i would really like rwb to take the myp b/c hes not such a lamentable flopper but i'm finding it more difficult to justify

micah, Monday, 17 April 2017 03:36 (seven years ago) link

true or false: this series should be considered by mvp voters (and the sas v mem one, too)

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 17 April 2017 04:54 (seven years ago) link

each mvp voter gets to make that determination on their own. are the ballots already in?

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Monday, 17 April 2017 04:56 (seven years ago) link

yeah ballots are in before the postseason starts

Clay, Monday, 17 April 2017 05:04 (seven years ago) link

they're gonna have a special awards show which could be a disaster

Lebro v. Wade (Spottie), Monday, 17 April 2017 05:38 (seven years ago) link

micah, Monday, 17 April 2017 11:25 (seven years ago) link

Cavs and Spurs both win by >15 tonight? think so.

that's not my post, Monday, 17 April 2017 19:19 (seven years ago) link

Probably

Spottie, Monday, 17 April 2017 19:31 (seven years ago) link

The Cavs (other than bron and kyrie) would be hard pressed to look worse than they did in Game 1. But it is not established yet they can look any better. The spurs put so much weight on kawhi it's a damn good thing for them he's so consistent.

Miles at the 4 is not working

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 00:57 (seven years ago) link

uh the grizzlies are v bad

nice cage (m bison), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 02:20 (seven years ago) link

also tony parker going into playoff mode, surprised to see that he still has it

nice cage (m bison), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 02:21 (seven years ago) link

man what has been happening to the Cavs in the 4th quarter lately

frogbs, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 02:22 (seven years ago) link

that shumpert flop on that inbound play was so egregious. that cle inbound play to get Kyrie that open layup was perfection, sealed it.

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 03:13 (seven years ago) link

grizz need to continue to hoist away

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 03:33 (seven years ago) link

well they tried...

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 03:59 (seven years ago) link

KAWHI

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:10 (seven years ago) link

The incremental increase of the Kawhi career high in scoring

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:10 (seven years ago) link

37-11

19-19 from the stripe

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:11 (seven years ago) link

grizz have so much heart, the talent just isnt there

nice cage (m bison), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:11 (seven years ago) link

too bad tony allen is injured, coulda been more competitive

nice cage (m bison), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:13 (seven years ago) link

yeah that. also wonder what they would look like with a healthy version of their big (other) offseason purchase

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:14 (seven years ago) link

Popovich refusing to discuss strategy is really absurd considering his attitude towards answering softball questions

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:21 (seven years ago) link

leave dad alone, he's had a rough day

nice cage (m bison), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:25 (seven years ago) link

spurs got close but neither cavs or spurs won by >15. win is a win or sign of trouble to come in later rounds? my guess is the latter.

that's not my post, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:30 (seven years ago) link

fizdale going in on the refs

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:31 (seven years ago) link

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 04:32 (seven years ago) link

25-10-7-4-4 for bron tonight

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 06:44 (seven years ago) link

Would buy fizdale mixtape, hot fire

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 18:15 (seven years ago) link

Kawhi has just been annihilation incarnate in this series though, poor grizz

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 18:16 (seven years ago) link

honestly that's just a well-executed rant, props to fitz

Rodman>Draymond.

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 19:37 (seven years ago) link

was sorta thinking the exact same thought

Bobson Dugnutt (ulysses), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 19:42 (seven years ago) link

i mean the whole list is silly, how do you really justify excluding MJ and lebron lol

k3vin k., Tuesday, 18 April 2017 19:49 (seven years ago) link

of course but draymond seems the most out there pick even in that company

Bobson Dugnutt (ulysses), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 20:02 (seven years ago) link

Kinda bullshit that they're gonna put Fizdale's rant on NBA TV's twitter, and then fine him for the same rant

human music...I like it! (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 20:07 (seven years ago) link

I can see excluding MJ and Lebron but the team as constructed there makes no sense. There's no spacing for Hakeem, too many guys who need to be on the post.

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 20:17 (seven years ago) link

i can't see excluding lebron from that exercise
