I think Terrible Certainty-Extreme Aggression era is my fav, but Violent Revolution through Hordes of Chaos is also a hell of a run (I finally got "Enemy of God" the other day and it's phenomenal).
I know I talked in the metal thread about being put off by the power metal-isms on the last two albums but that's not an objection to melody, but more finding it a bit more clumsily implemented than on the previous albums in the 21st century. however repeated listens to the new one have been more fruitful for me.
I think they're going to put on a helluva tour.
anybody heard Endorama? the first Kreator song I heard was from Outcast ("Phobia") the year I first dove into metal and it seemed like rote thrash in retrospect, tho to me at the time, it sounded amazing...

The '90s albums are good. (But remember, I'm the guy who likes Napalm Death's late '90s albums, too.) Plenty thrashy, but with some industrial elements thrown in.

Extreme Aggression forever, but Coma of Souls is the one I pulled out most recently. It holds up big time
have not heard a Kreator album after Endorama, looking forward to these results

I interviewed Mille the other week and just got a signed copy of the new album in the mail from the label!

man they're pretty much all great post-Endorama. check 'em out - Violent Revolution was originally my favorite but Enemy of God which I just listened to for the first time might be better!

I will definitely check them out! I definitely need some Kreator in my life right about now.

Weird, never seen that! I always liked the album cover, strangely enough. It looked unpretentious and classic, just the four dudes standing there in t-shirts, looking cool, looking like an actual band. Is there a story behind why they opted for the group shot in lieu of the image above?

These second-tier band niche-genre polls never get a ton of traction.
New album is quite good, incidentally.

this thread got way more posts than I thought it would for the reasons you stated.
yeah I've come around to the new album...I enjoy it now. tho I prefer Enemy of God from the newer slate, or Violent Revolution.

I saw Kreator last year so I relistened to the first 5 albums before the gig, my favourites are the first 2 but I thought Coma of Souls was really good
