oops that was 22, natch
U2 did songs called "Fire" and "Desire". One of them does the rhyme, the other does not.
"Fire" "'Fire' was not a very good song. I always had this faith that we could make it up as we went along, but sometimes we couldn't, and that was a case in point. When you are in a place like Nassau, you don't really want to go in and work. You realize why all these great groups make crap records when they go to record there - who wants to go to the Bahamas and sit in a studio?" - Bono, U2
Whereas "Desire", does.
Then again, they also did "The Unforgettable Fire", which doesn't mention Fire or Desire, let alone rhyme them. Maybe they forgot?

Drake might've been reading this thread - he did Fire & Desire last year but the rhyme only features in the title, not in the actual lyrics.

Hey there! I've been keeping a list of fire/desire songs for a while now. I made a Spotify playlist with the stuff I found, plus songs from this forum - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3GI37lxNyGHPrFgGsf26dD?si=HRtXCGGNQ8W2WzJF8pPnpA
It seems like it's been a while since folks have posted here... but hopefully someone will enjoy this!
