No one said that you were 'spamming gore pictures' or 'spouting Nazi or authoritarian bullshit' or suggested anything even remotely in that ballpark. The assertion, if I may generalize, is that you weren't offering constructive ideas in a thread whose explicit intent was the solicitation of constructive ideas. There are plenty of threads for the Trump-related meltdowns that so many of us are having. All I and others have asked is that you keep the negativity out of that one particular thread. That's all.

we have plenty of threads whose explicit intent is for people to post funny things on them. it is common for people to post things that aren't funny on the threads explicitly for funny posts. Until we can threadban those who routinely violate the explicit intent of LOL threads, there will be no threadbans in this instance.
