The funny thing is I suspect Varg is even more marginalized in mainstream Norway as he would appear to be from a US perpsective. During '08, I remember talking to my Norwegian friends, and although they were happy to see Obama winning, it was also a matter of "no matter who the US president is, he and the country will still be a lot more conservative than us".

I’m inclined to agree with Fenriz, although the idea of Macaulay Culkin’s brother as Varg is something I definitely did not consider back in 1993.
