if indeed it hasn't been, then it must be b/c mr. zappa was VERY much anti-sampling. as are the executors of his estate, apparently.
notwithstanding that little snag -- the intro to "inca roads" would also be great to use as a sample.

Another nominee: Eno's "No One Receiving". That break is fire. (And it's PHIL COLLINS)

I'm sure there's loads of stuff that samples Can. At the moment all I can think of is 'Kowalski' by Primal Scream, which has drums from 'Halleluwah'

I heard 'Think' by Lyn Collins for the first time ever today, and I was thinking about a minute in, 'damn, how is it that I've never heard anyone sample a song this funky?' And then another minute lapsed and I LOLed at my naiveté.

Kind of surprised that there hasn't been much sampling of Scott Walker in general.

Rise above by Black Flag.
I can see all the hipsters now throwing down wicked shapes to a banging dance tune using the first four bars.

Has the intro to "Fascination" by Human League ever been sampled? I tried to do something with it years ago and failed to make anything interesting but I feel like it has potential
― Vinnie, Tuesday, 15 May 2018 16:31 (five years ago) link
I once tried making a mashup of an instrumental of Fascination with the vocals of White Zombie's Thunderkiss 65.
It was very silly.
