ya i have that same pass but you get like 1 or 2 bonus tickets to later/public screenings so that's the one i went for.

This weekend on Saturday Night there's an event called Dig Deeper, in which old singers from the 60s are invited back to perform their songs live, with a backing band. This month the featured artist is Lee Fields, the door cost is $15. I'm not sure I'm going, though, so feel free to venture out on your own! Performances usually start around 11.30 or 12, and the dancing goes til close.

Oh, sorry, it's at the Five Spot Soul Food restaurant and bar on Myrtle and Washington.

Getting to hear some of his classic Twinight material like "Not too cool to cry" and "Let me come within", as well as some of his earlier Mercury records like "Don't go away" is going to be nothing short of astounding. As you can tell from this footage shot at the fabulous Twinight Revue in Chicago recently put on by the Numero Group, Renaldo's voice remains astounding:
