Strictly for fun;

1 - Brazil
2 - Blue Velvet
3 - Taxi Driver
4 - Fitzcaraldo
5 - Duck Soup
6 - Metropolis (the one with the original score)
7 - Fight Club (I think it's brilliant)
8 - Rounders (Ed Norton vibe going on)
9 - The Wages Of Fear (Fantastic French film from the Fifties - alliteration alert)
10 - May Fools (not Malles best, but I find it very appealing still)

oh, haha, i didn't even come close to ten. here's what i did end up watching:

fanny and alexander
beau travail
ballad of a soldier
putney swope
the naked kiss - THIS WAS SO WEIRD.

some of these titles did come from suggestions on this thread though, so thanks where it applies.

(i wish more people posted to the sweet movie thread i started once :()

ARGHSGJNGJS i had little comments on each of them and then my laptop crashed. so because i have other things to do, i'll just say i liked all the movies i watched to varying extents (not totally sure what to think about the naked kiss), though.

i was thinking about just turning this into a thread where i talk about the movies i watched in the library (and basically the library-movie-watching experience), but then i don't think i'd want to subject anyone to that.
