three months pass...

Chico: One dollar and you'll remember me all your life.
Groucho: That's the most nauseating proposition I ever had.

"Aren't you Groucho Marx, the living legend?" Edy breathed, running a finger under his chin.

"It's not my fault all the others are dead," Groucho said.

"9 dollars and 40 cents? Thats an outrage! If I were you I wouldn't pay it!"
-- Groucho Marx after seeing the check for the meal in "A Night At The Opera"

One hilarious response to a contestant who had over a dozen children brought down the house. In response to Marx asking in disbelief why she had so many children, the contestant replied "No, Groucho. You don't understand. I REALLY, REALLY love my husband.", to which Marx responded, "I love my cigar too, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while."

So in Horse Feathers Groucho sings a song about how he is against everything, then about how he always gets his man. Then Zeppo proposes a plan to go to a speakeasy and get two ringers for the football team. Of course, Groucho is immediately for this and of course he doesn't get the men!

Urban legend, apparently. Marx claims he never said it. Sure sounds like him, though!
