'Narcotic Influence' is a hard-tech/house (before there was tech-house) classic but I never really investigated them further.

'Narcotic Influence' I think I have that 12 "

Oh yeah, forgot Narcotic Influence. Probably the weakest track on the seminal Flux Trax compilation but given the company that's hardly an insult.

four years pass...

Still think what I did in this thread's first post.

Oz & Jamie back in the studio under the Empirion moniker, apparently?

two weeks pass...

Empirion remixed Victory Pill's (= Jim Davies, guitar player for Pitchshifter & The Prodigy) next single Burnout and the mix was Kris Needs' tune of the week on his radio show @ Fnoob. (about 61 minutes into part 2 of "dom kris and michelle - jan 12 2011 pt 2" here: http://fnoob.com/music/hutchfever )

Both Dan and I are fans, last I checked! Not sure why neither of us haven't posted on here before...

Hooray!

On the other hand, I don't know if there's a point to all of this, 15 years after the album. Not sure if I want to hear new material anymore, even though I love almost all of the old stuff. :-/

Anyway, they've planned three more shows in the UK:

The Purple Turtle - Camden London, N1, UK Thu Jul 28
Classic Grand Glasgow, GLG, UK Sat Dec 10
KOKO London, UK Sun Dec 11

one year passes...

I don't know what I think yet - the ones with vocals are a bit Nitzer Ebby, some of the others use old school Empirion sounds, how ARE you supposed to follow up something that was made 23 years ago?

Meanwhile, I still listen to Advanced Technology, B.E.T.A., Quark Remix and their Firestarter Remix since I have those on CD and the rips all in one folder but I'm afraid I have no need for anything else. Good luck to them though :-)

narcotic influence is on my running playlist, I guess I should check out something else by them.
