Cyndi Lauper isn't exactly too collectable to begin with. You'd be lucky if you got $3 for it.

Well, I've got this jolly good gramophone by Massive Attack called "Blue Lines"!!!!! But there's a mistake on the label!!!!! Instead of "Massive Attack" it says "Massive"!!!!!!

Crikey, you'd think they'd check the label before they send it to the printers!!!!!!

They had to call themselves just Massive during the gulf war.

i gotta best of sparks record with the labels reversed. so i always have to remember that when i want to hear "tryouts for the human race" i have to play "no. 1 in heaven." or vice versa.

same problem with my copy of Spacemen 3, Playing with Fire, actually.

Should've been added to 100 Reasons why vinyl is the superior format.

My copy of the Jam's 'Start' plays the Village People instead. I'm not sure whether this is a good thing. Or, indeed, if it increases the value of the record.

General rule is mispressings ain't worth shit. If its The Beatles labelled with Elvis or something then maybe but if its a bog standard recrod with the wrong label don't get excited.

Actually do so I can mock you as your hopes of unlimited wealth from the hordes of Accept and Lauper collectors are crushed in the dirt.

That was so witty. Claps once...twice...a third time. Stops.

I did see once, a mispress of "New year's Day" by U2 on Tamla Motown records. Reckon Bono would pay a fortune for that one...

yeah I remember this being a thing at the time. Tim Simenon had to stop using the name Bomb the Bass for a while for the same reason.
